Job Description
The Proposal Specialist will be responsible for coordinating high-quality responses to Client inquiries, including opportunities, requests for information, and proposals. This role is not supervisory but requires extensive field & technical experience and the ability to mentor junior team members. We are seeking a candidate with strong field experience in Survey, Geophysical, Geotechnical, or Oil & Gas engineering, ideally with 5 to 10 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to complete entire costing, risk management and opportunities.
- Coordinate and compile responses to Client requests, including proposals and information requests.
- Maintain a list of active proposals and Client responses with status updates.
- Take ownership of proposal development, ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.
- Support compliance with Tender Governance Policy gates during proposal development.
- Develop and implement proposal management and proposal schedules.
- Facilitate strategy sessions and oversee proposal production to ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure Client requirements are fully met and consistent with company branding.
- Manage the development of Client presentations and post-bid submissions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Survey, Geophysical or Geotechnical, or Oil & Gas Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of offshore field experience in Survey, Engineering, or Project/Package Management.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with proposal management is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
