About the Position
Dexis, a professional services firm, seeks a Proposal Manager to lead business development for their DPS Institutional Support Contracts (ISC) Division, with a focus on U.S. Government clients. This role involves proposal and capture management, Salesforce CRM administration, and strategic partnership building. The ideal candidate has demonstrated U.S. Government business development experience, strong writing and organizational skills, and success in managing complex, multi-year proposals.
This position is based in Arlington, VA, with a requirement to be onsite two (2) days per week.
Responsibilities
- Proposal and Capture Management: Oversee all stages of proposal development, including managing large proposal teams, developing pricing strategies, writing, and conducting after-action reviews for RFI’s & RFPs.
- Strategic Business Development: Collaborate with Dexis' Business Development Support Services (BDSS) and DPS leadership to identify and research viable opportunities, track trends, bid budget management, managing reports, and build partner relationships.
- CRM and Pipeline Management: Maintain Salesforce CRM records, track DPS ISC opportunities, and ensure data accuracy
- Team Development and Mentorship: Mentor DPS staff in bid management and business development processes.
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance: oversight in all business development functions and operations through development, implementation, and continuous refining and improvement of BD processes, systems, tools, platforms, and best practices.
- Market Positioning: Represent DPS at government-related events to enhance visibility within targeted sectors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least seven (7) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with U.S. Government business development, proficiency with federal regulations (FAR, AIDAR, DFARS), strong understanding of cost and pricing strategies, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and independent work capability.
- Proven experience with US government business development for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and Task Order responses.
- Demonstrated experience in opportunity management, including identification and tracking.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, BPAs and IDIQs, and in capture efforts and client relationship management.

When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.
Dexis pay range for this role:
$100,000—$115,000 USD
