What you will do:

The Sr. Program Manager is senior member of the enterprise project office (EPO). He / She will be expected to actively and effectively manage all processes within the entire project lifecycle utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies. He / She will influence and formalize project vision, establish business case and scope of programs and projects for the BCR Management and IT-Operations areas; set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and communicate their progress. He / She is responsible for complete project plans, schedules and budgets and will manage issues and risks and help the team to remove roadblocks. He / She will supervise, mentor and coach project managers, and junior members of the project team.

Support critical business strategies for Sales and Marketing and Business Development teams by facilitating the planning, development and implementation of strategic business initiatives. Leverage agile, scrum, Kanban or other frameworks to accelerate the delivery of business value with quality while reducing risk and rework. Identify risk areas with business and financial units and provide the necessary corrections and recommendations for resolution.

This position will be responsible for overseeing and successfully deliver Sales and Marketing related projects. These projects are either foundational or strategic and enable business support, agility and growth. This position will also assist on preparing strategic business reviews/presentations to senior management, such as, Investment Committee, Business Unit Reviews, and Top Project Deep Dives for stakeholders.

Knowledge of engineering practices required to enhance/create new process to facilitate program and portfolio of BCR Management and IT Operations teams

Experience using Agile Software Tools required (Jira, Confluence); needed to manage day to day operations and to identify opportunities to better plan, track, manage and report change requests, releases and IT operations tasks.

Support with Process & Systems Improvement for the department, that will create new opportunities for automation and innovation

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a technical background to lead definition of project scope, document use cases, business requirements and user stories to deliver strategic Ensure product owner drives product roadmap, prioritizes user stories, reviews product demo and testing results prior to sprint releases. Facilitate retrospectives to ensure continuous improvements to the delivery process.
  • Schedule and facilitate business requirements sessions for review and definition of business expectations to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members, and manage all requirements expectations to develop and maintain the change request business requirement documentation.
  • Attend and facilitate project portfolio review and prioritization meetings, regarding project delivery roadmap.
  • Assign responsibilities and project objectives for project teams, set deadlines, assist with impact analysis and track changes to requirements. Ensure that changes to projects are documented and communicated according to EPO Standards.
  • Participate with IT Lead in the project development and progress review meeting. Assign action items to mitigate detected risks to the project timeline.
  • Tracks, Maintain and analyses all BCR metrics. Monitors key metrics for BCRs to identify any rooms for improvement, bottlenecks or business areas that require immediate attention. Presents metrics to Enterprise Project Office (EPO) AVP.
  • Oversee multiple projects at once. Effectively apply project lifecycle and enforce appropriate delivery framework using waterfall, Kanban or Agile methodologies to make sure IT operations related projects are delivered as expected.
  • Track and verify all Project financial related documentation. Audit the Project financial documents to ensure that all financial documents are processed in accordance with the EPO and Accounting procedures, as well as the approved project budget.
  • Supervise, mentor and coach junior PM team members on TracFone's EPO methodology and practices



Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six to seven (6 - 7) years of experience as a technical program / project manager, with demonstrated accomplishments to deliver projects and other transformative initiatives with heavy change management is required to ensure success.
  • Experience managing high risk enterprise projects through a complete project life-cycle.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, JIRA and Confluence tools. Prior use of agile scrum (2 - 3 years) to deliver projects is preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate a history of repeatedly leading successful project execution and cross-functional project teams.
