The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Level (15+ years of experience) Project Support Specialist with knowledge of Defense Department logistics and transportation, acquisition and procurement, and program management to support a complex, nonstandard acquisition and logistics program.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting various project tasks enabling the success of a threat-based Unmanned Systems (UxS) program
  • Be capable of employing expert knowledge of current military transportation processes and coordinating material logistical movements between CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Program management support will require expertise in interpreting policy, drafting program documentation, and authoring Standard Operating Procedures for handling, classifying, and accounting for material.
  • Assist in program documentation including Determination and Findings, Cost Estimates
  • Coordinate global logistics and transportation of material using military transportation capabilities across international locations. • Support quality control for tracking, inventory, accountability, and documentation of sensitive equipment.
  • Develop and implement program guidance, by Defense Authorization and department policies, to manage handling, classifying, and accounting for program material.
  • Assist in developing and authoring technical program documentation to support an Unmanned Systems (UxS) program.
  • Support rapid acquisition programs evaluating commercial technology trends and supply chains.
  • Oversee comprehensive logistics lifecycle management for DoD assets.
  • Assist in the preparation of intelligence, threat, and program briefings to all echelons of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Joint Interagency.
  • Support customer requirements to conduct acquisitions.
  • Solve unique challenges to the program

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • Current and Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years of experience in the Department of Defense in the field of Logistics and Program Management.
  • Professional experience with military lifecycle logistics.
  • Ability to manage programs and projects including tracking requirements, milestones, expenses, documentation, and reporting.
  • Provide technical program support to ensure successful transition and deployment of developed technologies.
  • Support as a flexible leader assisting in the planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating programs that require diverse support efforts contributed by others.
  • Expertise in quality assurance and policy interpretation to develop standard operating procedures and authority policies, procedures, and directives.
  • Ability to brief high-level stakeholders in DoD and Joint Interagency.
  • Experience with SharePoint to manage programs, projects, and policy documentation.
  • Understand and track budgeting of assigned programs and projects to inform program leads.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite to conduct necessary logistical data analysis.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to brief senior leaders and decision-makers.

Desired:

  • Master’s degree in leadership or program management.
  • Understanding of UxS systems, commercial-based technologies, and improvised threat systems.
  • Ability to coordinate with DoD/DIA threat intelligence agencies.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,700 - $134,000
