CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement US AFRICOM’s mission objectives.
The Opportunity:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, IT Operations Project Lead. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.

Responsibilities:
IT Operations Project, Planning and Execution:
• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.

 

Stakeholder Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including business units, vendors, and senior management.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and key deliverables to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

 

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
• Motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Budget and Resource Management:
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Work closely with resource management teams to allocate resources based on project requirements.
Monitor and control project financials to prevent budget overruns.

Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
• Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
• Proactively address project issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Implement best practices for risk management and issue resolution within the project team.

Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project requirements.
• Conduct regular project reviews and quality assessments.
• Implement and enforce project management best practices.
Qualifications:
Required: 
• BA/BS + 7 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 11 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
Active Secret clearance (no waiver) and ability to obtain and maintaining a TS/SCI
• Proven experience as an IT Operation Project Lead, with a successful track record of managing complex projects.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is required.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100 - 172,400 USD
