Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is responsible for managing project lifecycle through new product or feature launch or sustaining release. This includes coordinating with engineering, clinical, regulatory and quality, manufacturing and commercial teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget and meet all technical, quality and regulatory standards and requirements.

REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT:

Reports to the Director, Program Management in the PMO department

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize, triage, drive and communicate progress against projects involving a high degree of cross-discipline cross-functional coordination and problem-solving.

•Oversee and coordinate new product and feature releases across different organizations within the company

May include driving engineering development projects in these areas as well as other life cycle phases (new product development, technology development)

Create and direct project schedules, plans, resources and budget to ensure completion of project objectives on schedule and within budget

Manage internal stakeholder interactions and expectations using tactful and effective communication at all levels

Utilize preferred tools, techniques and methods for estimating project cost and time

Identifies risks and vulnerabilities; creates contingency plans

Communicate reporting requirements and create monitoring and control mechanisms

Conduct project kick-off meetings and regular and ad-hoc project reviews with project team, sponsors, and clients

Maintain open communication among project participants and interested parties

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred or Desired:

Excellent skills using Windows Office tools

Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills

Experience working in an FDA regulated environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Experience Administrating Jira, SmartSheet, MS Project and similar tools

Experience with creating and managing virtual environments

Familiarity with package management solutions

Required:

BS or equivalent in a technical discipline, or equivalent work experience•Strong •Project management skills (PMP desired)

Minimum of 5 years experience

Proven written and verbal effective communication skills with individual contributors and management across disciplines and functions

Some travel, domestic or international, may be required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Office:

Indoor Environment: The position takes place indoors, providing a comfortable and climate-controlled workspace

Sedentary Work: This role involves extended periods of sitting and working at a desk, requiring good ergonomic practices

Computer Usage: Proficiency with computers, including software applications and communication tools, is essential for tasks and collaboration

Minimal Physical Strain: While physical demands are generally low, occasional light lifting and moving of objects might be required

Structured Schedule: This position usually follows regular business hours, promoting a consistent and predictable work routine

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The range for this position is $101,500 – $139,500. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity.  As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
