This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects, with a wide range in value and complexity for Wolters Kluwer UK TAA. This role may also include managing a work
stream within larger, more complex projects. Although the projects are not international or severely complex in nature, there will often be times when the relationships with the customers are.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Work with the customers and/or account managers to define a project plan
which supports their objectives, constraints and business strategy
• Project management including preparation of project plans, day to day
management of project activity, production of reports and maintenance of
project files and records
• Ensuring that the projects deliver the required quality of outputs, on time and
within budget
• Ensure regular liaison with customers at a project level, managing any conflicts through to resolution
Skills, know-how and experience:
• Working towards recognised formal project management qualifications and/or
relevant project management experience
• Previous experience of delivering in a business to business environment
• Ability to manage, motivate and delegate to workstream owners in a project
environment
• Strong communication skills in a variety of written and verbal formats with a
wide range of people internally and externally
• Experience of managing multiple projects at various stages simultaneously
• Contingency and risk management skills
