Job Description
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in automation, manufacturing, or engineering? Bosch Oceania is seeking a dynamic professional to lead key projects, drive process improvements, and support business growth within our Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) department. This is a 2-year maximum-term, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton and may involve occasional domestic and international travel.
About the Role: As a Project Manager, you will:
- Manage automation, consulting, and engineering services projects as assigned.
- Monitor and report on project progress, implementing corrective actions to achieve targets.
- Maintain quality and document recording systems in compliance with BAMS procedures.
- Support project acquisitions with internal and external customers.
- Drive process improvements and develop BAMS project management services
- Act as the primary interface for customers regarding project matters.
- Prepare, maintain, and actively manage integration and execution plans for allocated projects
- Manage Project Risks (threats & opportunities) with appropriate response planning and actions
- Escalate project issues that cannot be resolved within the project team.
- Monitor and manage project costs to ensure alignment with budget constraints.
- Oversee project open issues to ensure successful outcomes.
- Ensure release of equipment in compliance with customer specifications.
- Support visits to customer sites to promote BAMS activities.
- Drive continuous improvements in project management work processes.
Qualifications
We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work across multiple business units, manage diverse topics and priorities, establish effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
To be considered for this position you would ideally meet the following:
- Relevant degree in Engineering (or related Project Management industry experience).
- PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner level certification / PMP is highly desirable.
- Strong project management experience within automation, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
- Experience with special-purpose machinery and setup of manufacturing sites is very highly regarded.
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within manufacturing.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to manage risks and lead project teams.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project, and SAP.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the region, interstate, and overseas.
