What We Are Looking For: A self-starter who can work with a variety of different personalities, in a friendly manner while staying motivated.
To Be Successful: You will need to come in and in the first 30, 60, 90 days, understand the priorities of the business and what we do. You will need to identify those tasks critical to pharmacy moves, start-ups and acquisitions requiring a migration from their current operating system to ours.
The Role: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of cross-functional projects across a variety of programs and initiatives. Projects will include internal and customer-facing implementations. This manager will also engage with vendors to ensure partners are helping the organization achieve its goals by ensuring resources and/or materials are available and delivered on time. The candidate must apply critical thinking skills, interpersonal skills, knowledge of projects at hand, and an inherent understanding of the business strategy to evaluate a problem/opportunity and define a solution. Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical to this role’s success.
Day-to-Day Job Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead project teams and allocate resources effectively.
- Facilitate collaboration and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Manage Integration implementations with Guardian customers.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project issues and ensure continuity.
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
- Oversee project completion, ensure quality standards are met, and document lessons learned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business, Project Management or related discipline.
- Project Management Certification preferred but not required.
- Emotional maturity to engage personnel at a variety of levels in a fast-growing business.
- Proficiency with project management and presentation tools (MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 4+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to determine roadblocks in project timeline(s) and set corrective actions.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate.
