This is a hybrid role, requiring a percentage of your time in our office in Frederick, MD.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborates with operations team peers to align project estimates with proposals.
- Drives project initiation, kickoff, and execution.
- Prepares accurate and detailed project estimates and schedules.
- Maintains project management discipline by monitoring profitability, forecasting, and scope.
- Reviews and updates project budgets and schedules weekly.
- Proactively collects and manages all project details to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Monitors and communicates project status, ensuring alignment with scope and plan.
- Leads relevant client meetings and project-related discussions.
- Anticipates and resolves delivery challenges, escalating issues when necessary.
- Adjusts project schedules as required to accommodate changes.
- Oversees quality assurance processes and ensures deliverables meet standards.
- Identifies out-of-scope requests and collaborates with client services to determine solutions.
- Updates project estimates in Workamajig based on guidance from the Program Director.
Coordinates with the team to initiate client invoices and support revenue recognition.
- Understands and adheres to client terms of agreement.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships aligned with company core values.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is a mid-level project management position on the Operations Team. The individual should have the following experience and capabilities:
- Two to three years of project management experience as a program manager or project manager in a traditional or a digital advertising/marketing agency or project managing within a shared services/internal agency model.
- Two to three years of relevant digital project management.
- A track record of delivering projects on time and on-budget.
- Experience tracking all budget-related information, including billable hours and project expenses.
- Managed the financial success of their projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
- Managed and worked with cross-functional teams (creative, strategy, technical, media).
- The ability to create and follow a well-defined project plan.
- The ability to provide project leadership not only to internal teams but to clients.
- Superior problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent writing skills; command of language, grammar, and spelling; dedication to error-free work and communications.
- Experience with project management software solutions, such as Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, etc.
- Experience with Workamajig preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of Macintosh and/or Windows computers, especially with Microsoft Office and database management
- Demonstrated behaviors and skills that align with Love & Company’s culture and values.
- PMP Certification is desired but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree
