As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, execution, and closure of projects within Telix programs in alignment with the strategic plans of the business. Your responsibilities will encompass project management, documentation, risk evaluation, change management, financial tracking, and reporting, all while adhering to PMO best practices. This role includes managing medium priority Early -Stage programs and cultivating complex business relationships.
What you’ll do
- Manage and deliver product development plans, overseeing activity planning, budget and resource allocation, and schedule adherence to ensure on-time, within-budget project delivery.
- Maintain and update project management tools like SmartSheet, ensuring scheduling accuracy, risk assessment, and data integrity, with regular progress tracking and standardized dashboard reporting.
- Serve as the key internal contact, driving cross-functional collaboration, providing timely updates, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate across clinical operations, regulatory, and manufacturing teams in a matrixed organization to achieve project milestones.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, ensuring cost and schedule impacts are addressed through the change management process.
- Develop, maintain, and report on project schedules, ensuring transparency, adherence, and timely corrective actions.
About you
- Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience in product/program development for products in preclinical and clinical development (Phase 2).
- Qualifications in science, life sciences, or a related field (bachelor’s or postgraduate degree).
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Expertise in at least at least two pharmaceutical drug development functions (clinical, manufacturing development, regulatory, or non-clinical development).
- Experience with project management tools, including SmartSheet and/or MS Project, preferred.
- 3 + years of experience in budget management and financial tracking.
- Experience working as part of a global cross-functional team.
- Experience leading sub-teams, managing and coordinating multiple tasks and functional areas.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
