Project Manager

trü frü has an exciting and ambitious Strategic Plan that will enable us to take our growth and performance to the next level. Renovation and efficiency are critical drivers of that success. To help move our plan forward, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead renovation and efficiency projects across our portfolio, including product updates, operational improvements, and portfolio optimization. You will join a newly formed group that will be the backbone of our efficiency and optimization efforts. This role will provide you with many opportunities to make a visible and meaningful impact.

What you'll do

• Scope, plan and manage multiple projects: Set goals and objectives, create project plans, determine resources, identify risks, develop contingency plans, create a change management plan and set KPIs.
• Execute with excellence: Ensure the project is delivered on time while managing stakeholders / communication and escalations accordingly.
  • Lead and organize cross-functional teams to ensure resolution of complex issues effectively.
  • Have a clear understanding of the business case (e.g., consumer insights, financials, marketing business case, operations & supply chain impact) to be a thought partner with cross-functional team members.
  • Apply (and share with team members) project management best practices that have driven your success.
  • Follow and evolve the Tru Fru stage gate model AND help refine our process to drive value, speed and quality (cost effectively).

• Proven skills and results in Program and Project Management.
• Strong people skills with a proven track record of driving change, ability to influence, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives and bring teams to consensus / alignment.
• Strong organization skills, especially managing complex projects.
• Solid written and oral communication skills (e.g., clear and compelling “story”, with accurate insights and a well thought out recommendation).
• Excellent problem solving in both ambiguous and tactical situations and a bias for action (i.e., you ask “how can we?” vs. “can we?”).
• Experience managing cross-functional teams with limited resources in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.

• Demonstrated commitment to excellence, high quality standards, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in PM tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smart Sheet), Excel and PowerPoint.

You have...

• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in program and project management.
• Proficiency in PM tools (e.g., Smart Sheet, Monday.com), and PowerPoint.
• CPG experience strongly preferred.
• S&OP experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of how CPG (food) companies and large retailers operate.
• Experience in IBP (integrated business planning) preferred.
• Track record of successfully executing program and project management using a stage gate process.
