Project Manager
As an internal Project Manager at Vestmark, you will be responsible for managing high-impact initiatives across different areas of the organization. This position requires dynamic leadership, strategic planning, and strong communication skills to successfully deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives. You will take the lead in managing complex cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies, aligning internal teams with strategic objectives, and driving key company-wide projects. You will be responsible for facilitating collaboration between various departments—such as Products, Engineering, Relationship Management, Production Support, and others—to ensure seamless execution and successful outcomes. Your role will involve prioritizing and managing resources across multiple teams, navigating challenges, and aligning project goals with the broader company strategy. As an internal leader, your ability to communicate effectively, manage timelines, and drive projects to completion while minimizing risks will be critical to achieving success.
Responsibilities:
- Drive internal projects aimed at improving cross-departmental collaboration and operational efficiencies.
- Manage resources and timelines, ensuring the successful delivery of key strategic initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships, collaborating with Product Engineering, Production Support, and other departments to ensure alignment and project success.
- Apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to manage projects, ensuring that objectives are met within budget and on time.
- Document internal progress, issues, and solutions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives within a collaborative, matrix environment.
- At least 3-5+ years of experience managing internal projects that require coordination between multiple departments.
- A strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management techniques.
- Ability to build strong, trust-based relationships across internal teams and departments.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of the Wealth Management industry, particularly with Investment Trade/Order Lifecycle and SMAs, is preferred.
- Professional in documentation, client presentations, and reporting.
- Ability to set clear expectations and negotiate effectively.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
