Job Description Summary
You will provide leadership of project management execution for strategic plans that support growth, productivity, capacity and globalization of our manufacturing capability. Leading projects with Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Department Leaders, Finance and Global Real Estate to build plans and schedules following business cases. Scope of projects include implementing manufacturing footprint programs (product line moves, factory expansions and start-ups, insource/outsource), merger and acquisition integration into manufacturing and cross functional manufacturing engineering program leader
Your Responsibilities:
- Leadership
- Manages projects of varying size simultaneously
- Lead cross-functional projects teams
- Manage execution of assigned projects and teams within schedule, budget and customer service targets
- Serve as the primary ISC interface with other Rockwell Automation functions and entities for assigned projects
- Review project metrics, measures performance against requirements, drives appropriate actions
- Identify partners, manages communications and ensures engagement
- Manage and report all financial aspects of assigned projects
- May apply complex and advanced project management and scheduling techniques
- Coach resources assigned to projects
- May lead internal process improvement efforts

- Responsible for resource scheduling to meet project plan requirements

- Responsible for the plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing for assigned projects
- Complete responsibility for successful outcome of projects
- Manage project portfolio within regional scope
- Manage subcontracts including labour and fixed price deliverables
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelors/ Master in Engineering or Business disciplines
- Minimum five years' experience in manufacturing operations or engineering with project management proven experience
- Fluent English
- Capability to secure stakeholder support.
- Expert in Negotiation.
- Very good conflict resolution and people interface skills
- Readiness to travel (domestic and international)
- In-depth understanding of ISC's business practices (roles, finance, strategy, etc.) and of manufacturing capabilities at ISC sites
- Posses product, process and technology knowledge relevant to manufacturing operations
- Must succeed in a competitive environment where constructive feedback is actively encouraged.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable
- Sixty hours of formal PMI-based Project Management training is desirable.
- Have critical competencies as defined in the Project Manager Competency Profile
Travel:
- Depend on location of the project. During project initiation phase, less than 10%.
- During execution in another location, more than 25%
