Catalent Pharma Solutions require a pharmaceutical product development Project Manager to join our team in Swindon.
The role of the Project Manager will be to work closely with other departments, leading and managing activities for assigned projects, typically for New Product Introduction (NPI) and existing Commercial Product Development projects.
The role

Individual responsible for overall project knowledge and execution according to agreed upon deliverables and timeline.

Customer contact on all project related issues and communication; ensure appropriate and timely communication is maintained.

Lead and build cross-functional project teams comprising of representatives from relevant functions; chair internal and customer project teams.

Track progress of project activities, ensure key development milestones agreed upon with customer are achieved, and ensure program proceeds based on the agreed upon timeline.

Evaluate, highlight, and escalate unresolved issues, potential barriers to project progression, and resources constraints to supervisor and/or key stakeholders. Represents the voice of the customer where necessary.

Discuss any changes in the customer quoted program of activities with internal team members and business development; communicate to the customer and ensure that the changes are fully documented.

Assist Business Development in maintaining customer relationship and ensuring “return business”.
The Candidate
-
Exceptional customer service/focus and interpersonal skills.

BSc/MScBEng/MEng in a scientific or Engineering discipline is preferred or other relevant discipline.

Experience within a Pharma, Medical Device, Manufacturing or production industry is essential for this role.

Be organised and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

Familiarity with the Drug Development Process.

Proficiency with MS Project and/or timeline preparation and maintenance.

Ability to communicate complex issues in a concise, coherent, and professional manner.

Ability to negotiate difficult issues in a well thought out and professional manner.
