Experienced Colleague
- Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope and within budget
- Oversee and manage all stages of the project, from initial analysis and strategy formulation to execution and post deployment evaluation
- Develop detailed project plans including defining project scope, goals and deliverables
- Coordinate with internal and external resources and teams to ensure efficient project execution
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and team members regarding project status, risks and issues
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients. Secure necessary approvals, ensure alignment, and address concerns in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal, financial and regulatory requirements
- Design and facilitate training programs for both internal teams and clients.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues related to the project. Proactively develop contingency plans and manage any challenges that arise during project lifecycle
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness. Collect feedback from stakeholders to refine future projects and related strategies
- Set up, own and execute proper project governance, monitor project performance and prepare reports for management including steering committee, project meetings, issuing packs and minutes.
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring projects stay within financial constraints
- Continually looking to drive down costs, implement lean initiatives, looking at new opportunities and innovation for both the company and our customers
- Experience working with multiple teams and doing program resource planning, financial planning and risk management will be added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong Project Management skills with a proven track record of managing large multi-year projects
- Organisational skills to produce executive level packs and minutes for a formal governance group
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a keen focus on details, quality and timelines
- Strong communication skills verbally and in writing so that key messages are understood
- Ability to exert control of project risk by application of stage gates
- Experience in managing knowledge transfer, Capacity Planning, Budget Management and Resources Planning
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, SNOW etc.)
- Understanding of Power BI/other visualisation tools
- Ability to conduct workshops using Design Thinking technique
Experience:
- 10+ years of project management experience with a focus on managing complex projects
- Proven experience in developing and executing project plans and strategies
- Experience of managing projects involving Investments / Asset management domain/Migration/ Technology and Cloud transformation
- Ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Application of project methodologies in a mature change environment
- Cost tracking of a multi-million pound project
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline.
- PMP certification or equivalent
- Investment Banking / Asset management related certifications is a plus
