1. Senior Project Manager

1.1 Job Description

For our team in Louvain-la-Neuve, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager for the drilling department. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and preparation of geotechnical fieldwork, such as drilling and probing.

Fugro is seeking a bright, highly skilled, and motivated Senior Project Manager with a strong passion for geotechnics and a creative mindset to join our growing Drilling department in Belgium. The Fugro office in Belgium offers specialized consultancy and engineering services worldwide in both the marine and land environments for projects in the energy and infrastructure markets.

1.2 What You Will Do

• You are the central point of contact for the client regarding the planning and execution of fieldwork;
• You monitor the progress of the project and identify risks. You report any deviations from the planning and budget and make adjustments as necessary;
• You ensure that field employees can perform the work correctly with the right equipment and materials;
• You are responsible for requesting prices, ordering materials, and evaluating supplier offers;
• You play a coordinating role between field staff, planners, internal advisors, and project managers.

1.3 What You Have to Offer

• A relevant technical bachelor's degree with preferably at least 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in geotechnics, construction, or similar projects;
• You possess a driving license B;
• You are proficient in Dutch, both spoken and written and/or French , both spoken and written and English Full Professional Proficiency ;
