The Project Manager ensures that all project goals are achieved within the budget: scope, quality, function, costs, deadlines, under consideration of the contractual conditions and she/he creates the project-specific standards.
The Project Manager reports to the Business Responsible of his project.
Role Purpose:
• Delivery of the project scope, conducting project evaluation and final report
• Conduct all required project team, critical & steering committee meetings
• Communication with the customer from sign of contract to acceptance
• Preparation, communication and maintenance of the project schedule
• Communication and negotiation with suppliers in consultation with Purchasing
• In cooperation with the Site Supervisor and HSE, safety of people, systems and environment as per overall company or legislative requirements
• Monthly short term forecast review
• Monitor and manage overall project budget. Escalate potential budget issues quickly
• Project review report preparation with support from project controlling
• Risk and opportunity management, including any risk mitigation strategies and actions
Tasks and Qualifications:
Who Are We Looking For:
- Previous experience in the role or similar
- IT Literate – MS Office
- Confident communicator to all levels of stakeholder both internally (e.g., Directors) and externally (e.g., customers)
- Knowledge of CAD/technical drawings
- Competences in risk-assessment and risk-management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are among your strengths
- You are able to plan, organize and document multiple project activities
- Good skills in conflict management
- Advanced knowledge in written and spoken English
- Availability for travel in Italy up to 50% of time
