Project Manager - Innovation

Innovation Creation and Design is the key driver to deliver IFF Vision for the future. As the operations project manager, you will work closely with the IC&D groups on managing various projects associated with our strategic initiatives. The person will be tasked with supporting the IC&D Operations team and manage projects from end-to-end. You will be part of the Global Flavors Innovation Creation and Design (IC&D) Operations team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the following activities within a Project Lifecycle

• Project Initiation and Planning
  • Define and document the project scope including objectives, deliverables, and boundaries.
  • Determine key stakeholders and understanding their needs.
  • Create detailed plans, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resources required.
  • Align on Budget and Resource requirements.
  • Ability to define tasks and assign responsibilities.
• Project Execution
  • Lead, direct, and motivate the project team to achieve outstanding results and meet project goals.
  • Work with cross-functional and global teams. 
  • Delegate tasks and holding team members accountable for understanding and fulfilling their roles and responsibilities.
  • Communicate to stakeholders and users through reports, meetings, and presentations .
• Monitoring and Communication
  • Monitor and ensure project milestones are met by evaluating performance against timelines, scope, and deliverables.
  • Build communication plans and visually compelling material for deployment including change management and training documentation.
  • Generate and communicate the projects progress to stakeholders.

• Project Close and Continuous Improvement
  • Ensure all project deliverables were completed.
  • Ensure documentation is finalized and available.
• Support and Collaboration - Work closely with the Global VP IC&D Operations and cross-functions teams to convert strategic goals into operational objectives.
• Global Project Management: Operate as an effective member of the Global IC&D Team by managing projects and standardizing best practices to support the Global IC&D Team. 
• Governance & Oversight: Support the implementation of the Governance Model for labs.
• Portfolio Management: Manage the process of the portfolio stock for applications and pilot trials
• Asset Management: Manage the asset capital investment plans, and maintenance.
• Safety & Audits: Support the EHS and local labs on safety measures.
• Digital Transformation: Support the Digital Team on their digital strategies and develop new analytic tools for decision making.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in food science & technology, chemistry, and biochemistry preferred.
• 5+ years’ project management experience in industrial food, pharmaceutical, ingredient or flavor industry.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
