About the Role

  • Zeta is looking for an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in Jira, Jira Automations, and Jira integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing projects effectively while optimizing Jira workflows, ensuring seamless automation, and integrating Jira with other tools to enhance project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project lifecycles, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Design, implement, and optimize Jira workflows and automations to improve project efficiency.
  • Manage Jira integrations with third-party tools and internal systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless adoption of Jira best practices.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and automation rules to enhance project tracking.
  • Provide training and support to teams on Jira usage, automation, and integrations.
  • Identify process gaps and implement improvements using Jira’s advanced capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to project management fundamentals (scope, risk, schedule, and quality management).

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ to 6 years of experience
  • Strong expertise in Jira administration, Jira workflows & reports, Jira automation, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in scripting Jira automation rules and optimizing workflow.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience in managing Agile, Scrum, or Kanban-based projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and implement Jira-based solutions.
  • Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or any relevant project management certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Jira REST APIs, scripting (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript), or marketplace plugins.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and ITSM frameworks.
  • Prior experience working in a technology-driven or SaaS-based environment.
