Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee ERP software implementation projects at client sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering ERP implementations on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, milestones, and risk assessments, to ensure successful ERP implementation.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, and maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with technical teams to configure, customize, and integrate ERP systems according to client requirements, ensuring seamless implementation.
- Scope & Change Management: Define project scope, monitor deliverables, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, consultants, and client stakeholders, to achieve project goals. Communicate and collaborate with offshore implementation teams.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, control costs, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Issue Resolution: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and promptly address challenges to minimize project disruptions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders on project status, risks, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on ERP software implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters, MBA preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of ERP systems, including configuration, customization, and data migration. Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and system integrations is a plus.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and will utilize iRely internal Project Management Tool and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% to client sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, Scrum certifications.
- Experience in managing multi-site ERP implementations.
- Familiarity with change management and end-user training processes.
