The R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing innovative equipment solutions at KONE. It serves as the driving force behind our advanced equipment offerings, such as KONE elevators, escalators, and automatic building doors
We are now looking for a
Project Manager, Elevator Doors
to lead Elevator Doors project at Hyvinkää Finland. As we are working in a hybrid model, remote work is possible few days per week.
What is our challenge for you?
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Elevator Doors team. In this role, you will oversee projects involving one of the most intricate and customizable components of an elevator—the doors. You will lead initiatives focused on product development, process improvement, manufacturing efficiency, and quality enhancement, working in a globally coordinated environment alongside R&D teams, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and technical experts.

To succeed in this role
-You have excellent leadership skills and drive. The ability to lead and motivate and support teams, ensuring that key activities are completed, and deliverables are met. A focus on achieving results over merely presenting them is crucial
-You have proven experience in Project Management, experience in an international environment involving complex products or manufacturing processes, ideally with highly customizable components.
-You are familiar with digitally integrated manufacturing systems, automation, and product configurations.
-You have excellent collaboration and communication skills that enable you to overcome organizational boundaries and complex issues in a multicultural environment
-You possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as evidenced by your ability to deliver measurable business outcomes
-You possess knowledge and experience in agile methodologies
-You are passionate about continuous improvement, innovation, and delivering exceptional value to customers
The desired candidate will have
-Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project leadership experience with a proven track record of successful outcomes
-Experience working in an international, multi-site environment within a high-performing technology business
-Know how in Agile Project leadership in practice
