Job summary:
As a Business Support Management Project Manager within the Commercial Banking Business Support Management team, you will be given the chance to lead change management initiatives on a global scale. We are seeking an team member with exceptional promote and energy, who is proficient in data analysis, and possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to effectively collaborate with others to gather crucial information. In this role, you will utilize your comprehensive understanding of information presentation to significantly influence our operations.
Job responsibilities:
- Partner with APT leadership on diverse projects, including project tracking, process flows, leading focus groups, and training programs, while communicating status and escalating issues as needed.
- Contribute to the implementation of project management best practices, standards, and procedures, including developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on coverage capacity reviews and detailed tracking of headcount positions and requisitions.
- Analyze BSMT data, identify data hygiene issues, define data cleansing action items for APM managers, and monitor accurate execution of data corrections.
- Assist with various People Agenda programs, coordinate BSM monthly and quarterly Recognition Programs, and new hire training.
- Partner with the US Project Management lead to aggregate business data from multiple sources and develop effective business update materials, scorecard reviews, and presentations.
- Assist with data analysis and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Execute innovative opportunities and track progress.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal meetings and off-sites, such as All Hands team meetings.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of project and/or operational experience
- Proven track record in successful business management and/or project management.
- Ability to thoroughly understand business systems data and relate it to business operations and strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into concise and meaningful business stories.
- Comfortable with learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Strong presentation skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint PitchPro).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and change management skills.
- Self-starter, highly organized, with effective prioritization and problem-solving skills, able to multitask and work under pressure.
- Fosters collaboration, recognizes accomplishments, and effectively participates in cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable leading initiatives or supporting the broader team.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in a large financial services firm is highly preferred.
