We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Project Manager for our Integrated Global Services branch located in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver or the greater areas! As an Automation Services Project Manager, you are responsible for driving critical components of the automation program at Long View. You will work closely with the Automation Services team to determine the priority of tasks, produce status reports, make strategic decisions, and drive outcomes. In addition, you will work closely with the various automation tool partners to ensure proper accountability and outcomes from their platforms.

A Day in the Life:

  • Work with the leadership team to ensure automation adoption goals and met business outcomes
  • Drive the day-to-day program management activities for ITSM, Chatbot, and AI at Long View
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, outside business units, and partners
  • Provide direction and tasks to Project Managers, Project Coordinators, technical staff, foster a positive team environment, and guide in ambiguous situations
  • Manage programs and multiple concurrent projects which are not necessarily related or interdependent
  • Assist upper management with vendor/partner negotiations related to contracting and professional services deliverables
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, effectively managing them across the organization
  • Identify resourcing needs within Automation Services and work with upper leadership to fill gaps
  • Coordinate activities between teams at Long View, clients, and vendors
  • Present program status, outcomes, benefits, and future plans concisely to Executive leaders regularly
  • Establish clear and concise critical path activities for the automation program
  • Govern key performance indicators identified by leadership
  • Build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
  • Be available to assist in resolving impacting client situations

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years' experience leading and delivering projects
  • 4+ managing multiple projects simultaneously in a program management capacity or similar
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • Experience working in a managed services provider environment – multi-tenancy and/or shared services model
  • Excellent experience in SDLC methodologies like Agile, SCRUM, and Waterfall
  • Proven experience of successfully delivering high visibility projects in potentially high-pressure situations, using standard project management techniques and disciplines
  • The aptitude to adapt and evolve methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve the delivery and support channels
  • Background in business process operations and software delivery processes with excellent client-facing skills is an advantage to the role
  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral, with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
  • Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance
  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule, and within budget close
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts
