We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will manage and oversee the entire project lifecycle for all projects under an Architectural Consulting Agreement, from initial Schematic Design (SD) phase through final Contract Administration (CA) phase. The Project Manager will act as the primary point of contact for architects, Allegion Architectural Services (AAS) team resources, and other key stakeholders, ensuring successful project completion that meets established specifications, schedules, and budget parameters.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with the project design teams in the development of door hardware solutions from Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA).

  • Oversee the project lifecycle, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, and within scope and budget.

  • Assist in developing project scope of services and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

  • Manage Allegion Architectural Services (AAS) team resources to deliver on project commitments effectively and efficiently.

  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.

  • Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including architects, spec teams, suppliers, and contractors.

  • Perform risk management, such as quality control of the door hardware specification and sets, on time delivery of project schedule, participation in key meetings, and managing to the agreement to minimize project risks.

  • Establish and maintain open communication and ongoing collaboration with third parties including the general contractor/construction manager, security consultants, security integrators, specialty door manufacturers, interior designers, and other consultants on the project.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including detailed reports and presentations on project status, issues, and successes to all stakeholders, and manage the project invoicing process.

  • Utilize door and hardware industry expertise to ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, such as incorrect, missing, or late delivery of information required to deliver services, quality control of Allegion supplied documents, and proper coordination and collaboration with security requirements and other related products.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural management, construction management, contract hardware project management, or door hardware consultancy.

  • Familiarity with the Schematic Design (SD) through Construction Administration (CA) phases of architectural projects.

  • Proven track record of successful project completion, managing resources, schedules, and budgets.

  • Strong knowledge of architectural design, building construction, and door hardware.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in using project management tools and software, such as MS Project, MS Planner, Meister Task, or similar platforms.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected total compensation range (including bonus) is $110,000 – $135,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
