About the Role:
As a Project Management and Analytics Lead you will be an important member of the Chief of Staff (CoS) Office within the Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) organization and will be based in Boston. GCA is comprised of Global Communications, Global Public Affairs, and Partnership Strategy, Global Sustainability, Global Security and Crisis Management, Global Project Leader, Health Data Partnerships and CoS Office, all of which work in concert to protect and advance Takeda's reputation. This role is pivotal in overseeing and managing various projects within the CoS Office, supporting the CoS to the Global Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer (CGCASO) in executing key priorities. The role requires proficiency in project management and strong analytical skills, along with the ability to provide strategic support and leadership. You will report to Chief of Staff.
About the Chief of Staff Office
The Chief of Staff Office works to enhance GCA's operational excellence, strengthen team culture, and efficiently support the Chief Global Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer in executing key priorities. This includes transforming GCA from "a strong executor" to a "trusted advisor" for the company. The GCA CoS office focuses on areas such as operational excellence, impact measurement, data-driven decision-making, fostering team culture and collaboration, and adoption of GenAI.
How you Contribute:

  • Work with CoS to oversee and manage various projects.
  • Ensure project success through the development and implementation of detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Drive project completion by leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely, scope-compliant, and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Facilitate organizational alignment by coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams on project objectives.
  • Ensure project performance and risk management by monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide transparency and informed decision-making to senior management and stakeholders through the preparation and presentation of project status reports.
  • Enhance process improvement by conducting data analysis and generating actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for the CoS office in Boston while the Chief of Staff operates from Tokyo, ensuring effective communication.
  • Strengthen project alignment with the GCA organization's goals by ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide stakeholders with valuable insights through various data analyses and actionable recommendations.


Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, data analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly with strong adaptability and curiosity.
  • Minimum of 3 years of business experience, ideally in a multicultural and global setting.
  • Proven track in project management and strategic support experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and geographies
  • Takeda uses the Microsoft platform, and the role requires mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
133,000.00 - 209,000.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
