Job Description
Project Executive II shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
1. To lead and manage project category C and D independently and support project category A and B.
2. To run a project by leading a project team to realize the deliverables of the project from project start (Kick-Off) till project termination (QGC5). Project deliverables are typically obtained from the following areas.
• Project related contracts
• Product requirements as specified by the customer specification
• Organizational, Divisional and / or Plant targets
• Central Directives and / or Organizational procedures
3. The project should be managed in accordance and in compliance to established internal procedures and directives, and also according to procedures from the customer that has been agreed by the BOSCH Group or by the responsible Bosch functional unit (e.g. XC, AE, PS … etc)
4. To drive and coordinate RFQ activities to meet price targets and submit necessary data for calculation in a timely and accurate manner.
5. To be accountable for the achievement of project targets in term of quality, cost and on time delivery, and drive the project team toward the achievement of these results.
6. To ensure that key deliverables (e.g. samples submission, product approval and process audit) are carried out in full compliance with the customer requirements.
7. To liaise with customer professionally on project matters and technical changes, establish good customer relationship in order to achieve total customer satisfaction.
8. To secure resources with the respective department heads to ensure the project can be carried as per schedule with MDs’ support.
9. To report project status periodically to the management and provide accurate information and data for management decision making.
10. Any other duties assigned by the immediate Superior from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Typically more than 8 years of working experience in the field of development (R&D), with preferably 4-7 years of working experiences in project management.
- Able to deliver convincing presentations on a large scale.
- Experience in project management knowledge areas as defined by PMI®.
- Preferably with PMP certification.
- Preferably with working in automotive industry and is familiar with IATF 16949 standard.
- Ability to work in cross-functional team environment in a global scale.
