Job Responsibilities:
Position Mission:
Manage the engineering changes and coordinate the construction of prototypes as part of the process of new releases.
Main activities and responsabilities• Creation and administration of the BOM (Bill of materials) for the different active programs, to ensure the integrity of the information and the engineer drawings.• Carry out audits to the BOMS to ensure the that information is the correct according to BAAN and the engineer drawings.• Manage the engineering changes through Change X system for the change requests- CR and coordinate with the different areas of the division those changes.• Create and communicate the approved engineer changes and ensure the correct implementation in the BAAN system.• Secure the documentation control of the engineering changes to meet with the quality requirements.• Coordinate the production of samples and prototypes as part of the validation of new programs in their different phases of the program launch validation.• Establish direct communication with the client to ensure the requirements.• Create materials listing in the International System of Materials Information (IMDS) to comply with regulations and international standards of environment and obtain the client PPAP.• Monitorear los portales de los diferentes clientes para verificar los requerimientos de piezas prototipo/pilotajes.• Develop and update the packing instruction for all the part numbers produce in the division. Ensure the correct deployment in all the production areas.• Provide support in the mirror area by providing engineer drawings for the correct launch of the finish product.• Participate in projects and activities VA/VE to generate savings in the division. • Provide support to the different areas in topics regarding the engineer product.
Education and Experience • Mechanical engineer, Mechatronics or related to engineer major.• 3 years in similar positions in automotive industry.• Interpretation of engineering drawings.• Knowledge in AutoCAD.• Experience in managing client portals• English
