JOB PURPOSE
The main purpose of this role is to lead the team of Project Coordinators in India and ensure all Project Coordination tasks are executed accurately, on time and within the established Ways of working.
Due to the Project Coordination team’s expansion, there is a need to assure enough Project Coordination Managers capacity to lead the team as well as remain the approachable point of contact for Regional Leaders and other stakeholders.
In alignment with the global PD/RL structure, there is a need for the Project Coordination team to adopt a similar design, which will satisfy business expectations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a role model within the Project coordination team ensuring that the ways of working are well understood and put in practice in the day-to-day job.
- Maintaining senior and professional relationships with each partner and stakeholders.
- Proactively work with Project Coordinators and share with Head of Project Coordination department any main concerns and suggestions to overcome challenges.
- Improve existing processes / tools to ensure streamlined and efficient operations.
- Develop and mentor the team to ensure that each individual is well equipped and prepared to address the business requirements and support the team with coaching as needed.
- Recruit and onboard new Field Workers and work closely with the FW Training department.
- Maximize team efficiency through effective resource and develop capabilities within the role.
- Growing the team – by spotting talent and giving them the feedback and support their needs to be their best.
- Regularly manage projects to be a player/coach and learn new modalities, gather experience in the markets, and to implement more efficiency.
- Work closely and collaboratively with other Project Coordination managers and Head of the department to deploy new processes or work on new proposals.
- Liaise with other departments as and if new WOW practices need to be implemented.
EXPERIENCE
- Have proven track of record as Project Coordinator or equivalent from any previous work experience and have had the opportunity to work within different markets.
- Mentored or trained other project coordinators.
- Drove new processes and change management.
- Support and communicate efficiently with other stakeholders providing best solutions and options.
- Successfully influenced decision makers by presenting data, options and best solution.
- Problem solving and focused approach to completing activities in the project co-ordination scope.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS & TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent communication skills
- Excel skills are essential
- Knowledge of Box and Outlook
