A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Provides project and/or program support to the Clinical Affairs team.
- Monitors program/project/system status, document approvals, timelines and budgets as appropriate.
- Applies knowledge of and experience in company operations to assist in the development, implementation and administration of program/system guidelines and procedures.
- Applies relevant clinical research support experience to create project related documentation and maintenance. Ensures proper documentation within clinical study management systems and records management.
- Gathers and compiles information for reports.
- Provides technical support, which may include program/system training, program/system documentation, data extraction, data review, tracking and shipping and receiving of study equipment.
- Schedules and attends departmental meetings, prepares meeting minutes
- Coordinates HCP payments and product shipment documentation for annual (Suncatcher) reporting
- Communicate with study sites to request and document clinical study status updates. Ensure adequate documentation within study management systems.
- Additional tasks as assigned
Required Knowledge & Experience:
Requires broad practical knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education. Requires minimum of 4 years of clinical research coordination experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Clinical Research experience at Medtronic or within a medical device industry.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Project (or similar scheduling software), project management techniques and tools; and web-based applications.
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to establish priorities independently and work under tight deadlines
- Demonstrate desire to learn and show initiative
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic work environment and meet project deadlines.
- Works independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$52,400.00 - $78,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
