Dematic has an exciting opportunity for project controller / analyst within our Global Software Finance organization. This role will work closely with regional leadership to provide critical financial performance insights: project controlling, prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, engineering workload planning. The preferred relevant extensive experience, however the level of the position is flexible for strong candidates. This position will have broad exposure to various other operational functions and project controlling within Dematic’s organization.

Tasks and Qualifications:
- Continually monitor progress on software projects
- Conduct weekly reviews with project management and software execution teams to drive project financial performance
- Validate financial forecast is in line with project execution pipeline, review and quantify risks with project management, review change order activities
- Review actual results, identify, and document root cause for variances
- Prepare and ensure smooth execution of monthly finance presentation
- Identify and implement improvements to monthly forecast process, variance analysis of results against the plan, and close visibility gap
- Partner with software teams to establish reporting for non-conformance cost
- Monitor the intercompany billing for global engineering services; Ensure invoices are accurate and submitted on time
- Monitor project activities for conformance to Dematic’s financial policy
- Maintain and further evolve a complex financial model that governs Dematic’s operating plan and long-range projections including detailed analysis to support those projections
