This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and focused individual who would like to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team. As part of this team, you will manage the multiple work streams, projects tasks, programmes and channels which the local Australian team is responsible for across the ANZ and Pacific region; with a pathway to Project Management and associated professions. This person will also meet and exceed all company and individual goals in line with the Company’s policies, procedures and values.
The role involves a range of duties, including but not limited to the following:
- Administrative support of the Project Management Team
- Responsible for managing and tracking project tasks, milestones, and deliverables
- Assist the project and business teams to scope and plan projects
- Coordinate internal and external teams for project delivery
- Manage and contribute to project business cases, project risk, issue management and change requests
- Manage and assist in product testing and quality control
- Assist and coordinate in answering technical or process queries
- Take minutes at meetings or workshops
- Manage tasks required for sprint planning
- Report and update project status (monthly updates meeting and quarterly prioritisation meetings)
- Develop project documentation
- Coordinate with the team of international project managers on project delivery tasks
- Manage project closure and ensure proper handover to operations team
- At least 2 years’ experience in working in project coordinator role or environment
- Ability to apply project management method/methodology principles
- Ability to work with internal and external cross functional teams and stakeholders
- Ability to coordinate and work closely as part of a global team
- Work with limited/minimal supervision on tasks and activities assigned.
- Highly developed documentation, knowledge and information management skills;
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Organised and able to handle multiple concurrent tasks and deadlines.
- Intermediate MS Office software skills.
Additional Preferred Qualities:
- Ability to understand the business and acquire product knowledge and procedures;
- Technical/engineering/CS background;
- Tertiary education, Project Management certification is desirable but not required;
- Outgoing Personality and Team Orientated;
- Experience in Banking, Telco, Payment Processing, Transactions Processing is highly desirable but not required;
- Basic SQL knowledge is desirable as well as ability to learn proprietary systems and tools
