The Business Banking Services Solution Replacement program is one of Desjardins’s largest modernization programs. It aims to modernize the banking platform of the existing business sector to meet various requirements and better fulfill the needs of our members and clients. We’re looking for a PL/SQL Programmer Analyst to help us achieve this goal! More specifically, you will be required to:

Perform PL/SQL analysis and development

Review PL/SQL queries and their dependencies (other objects, table structure, etc.)

Optimize existing PL/SQL code to improve efficiency and resilience

Develop and implement ETL/ELT processes for seamless data integration

Understand and leverage relational data models
-
Work with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and resolve issues
-
Maintain documentation of data consumption and integration processes
-
Work with our database managers to help optimize the database structures so that data can be used efficiently
-
Explore opportunities to automate processes and stay up to date on emerging technologies.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field
-
A minimum of four years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle
-
Knowledge of French is required
-
In-depth knowledge of PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers and packages
-
Knowledge of tools such as GitLab, Kubernetes and cloud computing environments

Knowledge of Agile practices: Scrum and its tools (Jira, Confluence)
Complexity, Plans and aligns, Tech savvy
