Responsibilities:
● Drive platform partnerships and collaboration with external agencies on key issue domains.
● Leverage industry research and resources to inform and educate our safety strategy and in-app user safety features to users.
● Engage with XFN teams in Brazil to deliver T&S initiatives and contribute from T&S perspective.
● Facilitate the information flow between the local and HQ teams and ensure the visibility of progress through timely and appropriate updates.
● Build external narratives explaining our values, principles and overall policy/enforcement approach with a view to drive Industry alignment and consensus with key KOF's/KOL's etc.
● Establish external governance and advisory forums with a view to transparency, accountability, and most importantly driving ongoing improvements at the service of our community.
Requirements:
● 4-5 years of experience in partnership/developer relations type roles at tech /social media / UGC platforms.
● Deep understanding of UGC, short video-sharing platforms, features, and related content issues.
● Experience designing programs relating to misinformation, fact-checking, media literacy etc.
● Familiarity with NGO/NPO partners, academia, KOF's etc on key and relevant platform issues.
● Background in partnerships, marketing, policy program implementation.
