Education: Required – Associate’s degree or equivalent number of college credit hours.
Experience: Required - 1 or more years of experience with planning multiple events annually.
Preferred – 1 or more years of experience with managing data in software.

Summary: The Program Coordinator manages event planning and activities, community outreach, and data collection and reporting in support of NFSN (National Family Support Network) and FAYS program requirements.
Essential Functions:
1. Plans and handles logistics related to FAYS program activities, events, and NFSN requirements.
2. Tracks and reports programming data, including event attendance and client billing data.
3. Strong writing skills to document measurable reporting requirements.
4. Conducts community outreach in educating caregivers, professionals, and others about the program and agency services. Strong communication skills needed.
5. Travel to schools and other community partners as needed.
Measurable Deliverables:
1. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
2. Events and program activities align with NFSN standards and Project Workplan requirements.
3. Review, input and create FAYS billing reports within required timeframes, and in compliance with program quality expectations.
4. Maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics and additional relevant information in accord with agency policy, licensing, and/or funding requirements.
5. Prepare, compile, and submit accurate client reports to the Program Director.
6. Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and other activities that promote professional growth and development.
7. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
8. Maintain BCFS HHS professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in BCFS employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, the service population, and community members and complying with required dress code always.
9. Identifies and maintains professional relationship with clients and community partners.
10. Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service trainings and case consultations.
Requirements:
1. Maintain current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to:
First Aid CPR Other ________________________________________
2. Pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug screens and always maintain emotional control and professional composure.
3. Provide proof or work eligibility status upon request.
4. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background and motor vehicle check (fingerprints needed if applicant has lived out of state within the past 5 years)
5. Demonstrate the ability to:
a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
c. Work in a fast-paced environment.
d. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
e. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
f. Travel as needed.
g. Manage time effectively and efficiently.
