Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a candidate to provide Program Management support in a fast-paced and dynamic customer environment with a broad impact on the customer’s mission. This position supports the Sponsor and is responsible for providing executive level personnel with a broad array of assistance. The role requires a strong problem solver, who can identify/anticipate requirements and provide creative solutions.

  • Provide consulting support to Sponsor PMs and support personnel in project management principles, techniques and processes to include assessing project status, reporting, progress tracking, control gates, data management, project communication, risk Analysis, and Stakeholder involvement
  • Provide consulting support to Sponsor PM’s in executing their programs, preparing briefings, documentation, and working with customers, stakeholders
  • Provide consulting services and analyses for developing project metrics and performance standards based on the project milestones and outcomes that are traceable to Sponsor’s Strategic Intent
  • Assist Sponsor PMs in tailoring presentations for executives in a way that establishes win/win partnerships
  • Leverage subject matter expertise and problem-solving methodologies to foster solutions alleviating strategic roadblocks and create innovative solutions for ambiguous problem-sets

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 20 years related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Oral and Written)
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Visio, Project, Publisher, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of best practices studies, business case analysis, creative problem solving, decision briefing, project management processes, project activity implementation, risk management, and strategic planning

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMI-PMP Certification
  • Financial management and financial planning
  • Experience with COGNOS, PARIS, BASIS, BCR and SLA applications
  • Knowledge of: Change management, facilitation, organizational assessment, process modeling, business planning, business process reengineering, consensus building, organizational restructure, design, and implementation, project management processes, data modeling, and benchmarking/metrics
