Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and manage a large Space Command & Control Ground program. The Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution System (FORGE) is a program that will utilize the resources and capabilities of both the legacy Space Based-Infrared System (SBIRS) and the Next Generation OPIR system. FORGE will use current ground architecture to leverage newer technologies, facilitate the addition of new systems, and incorporate these into a common C2 architecture that includes infrastructure, platform, and core services.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead a geographically dispersed team of Systems Engineers, Software Developers and operators
  • Lead a 100M+ Space and Ground Integration program
  • Lead a Full-scope solution delivery (i.e. not government support contractor)
  • Manage cost, schedule, and risk performance and provide monthly program status
  • Work closely with both customer and Parsons senior leaders
  • Ensure Program collaboration with stakeholders and space vehicle vendors
  • Provide strategic support for corporate space-based growth opportunities

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelors in a STEM degree with 15+ years of experience in space and/or national security programs
  • 10+ years of program management experience
  • Experience with software development management in multi-level security environment
  • Strong communication skills with experience interfacing with government clients in multiple locations
  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain SCI


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Command and Control (C2) and OPIR
  • Experience with system of systems engineering and integration
  • Experience/knowledge working with USAF, Space Force, or IC space programs
  • Active TS/SCI

Salary Range: 

$126,600.00 - $227,900.00
