Job Description

This role is for a highly transformational digital engagement for one of the key Globant clients. As this is exclusively a commerce business the ideal candidate should have experience delivering complex commerce and replatforming initiatives, be able to have the strategic conversations and ready to role their sleeves up and get stuck in. This person will become eyes and ears of the whole program work, the orchestrator and glue that keeps everything together.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a Strategic alignment: all decisions are made in line with the business and digital strategy and the processes and mechanisms are in place through the different layers of the Team to ensure the outcome
- Own the Governance plan. Create and maintain overall Program schedule
- Ensure Scope Management plan is documented and followed
- Build snd maintain strong relationship with the stakeholders both. Establish an understanding of client's business, processes and procedures and apply that knowledge to ensure project's succses
- Control capacity plan execution and updates. Ensures robust onboarding plan is in place for anyone new on the project
- Manage risks and opportunities. Build and maintain risk register and mitigation plan
- Proactively manage clients communications and expectations
- Collaborate with the internal teams. Control quality, suggest process improvements, highlight possible issues and work with the team on the solutions
- Effectively apply Agile project methodologies
- Create and provide exec reports to management and leadership team
- Manage Finance plan and Collaboration with the Vendors
- Look at the continuous improvement, people, processes and technology

Qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant web/application project management experience
  • Proven working experience and deep understanding of the project management in the Commerce domain
  • Record of completed complex digital transformation projects, with a team size of 20+, from discovery to GoLive
  • Experience in managing complex deliveries, with multiple vendors, as a manager of prime vendor's team.
  • Experience mentoring project managers, building career paths and development plans
  • Experience of assessing, improving and formalizing the delivery processes
  • Experience of leading discovery workshops with a client
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Solid organizational skills
  • People management champion
  • Deep understanding and experience of managing projects within Team and Material and Fixed Price models
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
