AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Principal contact with the customer for all program related issues.
- Manage the financial and business aspect of the program
- Manage customer relationship
- Reporting to customer in terms of the contract
- Manage any Prime or Sub contractual issues
- Change Management/Change Control
- Manage preparation, submittal and execution status reporting of any and all proposals
- Ensure all bids and proposals are competitive and submitted on time
- Repair/Maintenance of vessels
- Liaise with project management to ensure that issues affecting each project’s performance are understood and mitigated or resolved in a timely manner
- Manage contract administration, specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements as they apply to ship construction.
- Estimating
- Ensure all bids and proposals are compliant with established procedures
- Contract change management / control
- Working level understanding of the contract performance reporting.
- Billing
- Ensure cost collection is compliant and organized for billing
- Timely billing of costs
- Act as a Compliance Champion for the organization and work to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Monitoring for changes in, and making recommendations for improvements to comply with laws, rules, regulations, and policies that govern business activities in your department or subject area.
- Assist in compliance risk assessments and risk reporting in accordance with the Company’s risk assessment program.
- Developing, providing, and documenting compliance training, as applicable.
- Compliance monitoring, surveillance, and auditing efforts, and assisting in investigations of suspected compliance violations.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
- 4 year degree relating to engineering technologies preferred
- 15 years of related experience and training
- Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense Security Clearance
- Proven record of military program management
- A sound knowledge of naval ship repair industry
- Proven ability to set tasks for self and others
- Ability to listen to staff and customers and act appropriately
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, contract specifications, and major equipment specifications.

COMPENSATION:
$121,940 - $170,444
