Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional Program Manager for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM).
The Program Manager will work directly with the Sentinel Program Flight Systems RSRV branch as an action officer and advisor for various projects and integration efforts. As a Program Manager, you will assists the Team in developing schedules, supporting planning activities and executing assigned tasks. You will analyze program and contractor documentation to provide recommendations to the Government Team. You will assist the Government Team in managing the Prime Team's performance in developing and executing the engineering, manufacturing and development phase of the Sentinel program. Additionally; in this position, you will provide status to management on critical design review status, schedule status, and prime contractor performance.

Why SENTINEL? The Sentinel Program is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire ICBM weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. Without any doubt, Sentinel is one of the DoD's most important acquisition efforts for the next decade, if not longer. It includes a complete refurbishment of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command and control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. Sentinel is the Department of Defense's newest official "program of record," having achieved Milestone B. It enjoys broad, strong support at the national level. It is a long-term project -- the weapon system will deploy over a nine-year period beginning in approximately 2026, and remain operational until at least 2075. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 10 years related program management work experience.
• Experience using scheduling tools to drive program performance.
• Experience in the fundamentals of DoD acquisition management from the development of requirements, conceptual design, engineering design/manufacturing/development, production and fielding.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement processes.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and MS Office applications.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• EVM experience.
• Exhibit a high level of computer literacy.
• Engineering/Technical Management experience.
• Experience with DoD weapon systems, primarily nuclear.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
