Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:


As the Program Manager, Employee Impact you are a key partner in activating the Employee Impact strategic roadmap. You will lead and partner with stakeholders across the business to educate, integrate and align the roadmap. You will be accountable for the planning, development, and delivery of Employee Impact programming to meet long and short-term objectives in support of the strategic direction of Arc’teryx.

The Employee Impact team is a key function within the People & Culture department and in strategic partnership with the business, your team drives the continuous learning and development of people and leadership practices that foster a culture that generates equity, diversity and inclusion. As a team, you are passionate about the application of thoughtful, intentional, innovative Employee Impact programs and workshops. 

If you were the Program Manager, Employee Impact now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Providing strategic guidance on EDI initiatives across the business and partnering to support the implementation of the EDI strategy
  • Partnering with the executive leadership team to communicate EDI updates and progress, holding leaders accountable to implementation and ownership of EDI in their areas
  • Driving solutions and outcomes in alignment with the Employee Impact strategy to best support the business priorities and objectives
  • Partnering with 3rd party vendors to design and deliver solutions that support the EDI roadmap
  • Identifying and creating opportunities for employees from inequity experiencing groups through recruitment, advancement, compensation and benefits, and accessibility programs
  • Leading large scale projects, across multiple business functions to support the implementation of the Employee Impact strategy 

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Executing and amplifying the 5-year Employee Impact strategic roadmap
  • Developing educational programming and activating key projects as part of the Learning and Development initiatives within the Employee Impact strategy
  • Project managing EDI initiatives from inception through to completion 

Are you our next Program Manager, Employee Impact?

  • You have 3-5 years of Employee Impact experience, ideally within HR for the retail sector or a similar industry.
  • You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. Psychology, HR, Business) or equivalent experience.
  • With an expertise in EDI and respect for Truth and Reconciliation, you proactively identify and develop opportunities to deepen organizational understanding, fostering alignment across our global community.
  • You understand EDI best practices, Human Rights, Employment Equity legislation, relevant legal principals, and a willingness to learn about Reconciliation
  • You are action-oriented, with a strong execution mindset and a proven track record of high-quality results
  • You have a proven ability to build trust and relationships across all levels of the business
  • You have strong business acumen, and the ability to quickly understand business strategy and connect it to people strategy 
  • You have demonstrated coaching skills and are experienced in providing strategic guidance to all levels of leadership across the business 
  • You have strong influencing skills with the ability to drive outcomes that support individuals, teams, and the business 
  • You are a strong verbal and written communicator
