What you will do

  • Successfully manage programs, either in support of product development, or Government customers, while ensuring delivery of program commitments.
  • Manage concurrent programs varying in size and complexity, while rapidly adjusting to changes in priorities.
  • Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of project portfolio through all phases of project lifecycle from inception to closeout.
  • Execute program requirements by leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations/Manufacturing, Contracts, Finance, and Security.
  • Act as primary customer contact for project/task order activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Apply business acumen to formulate practical and effective program management approaches to ensure services are delivered on schedule.
  • Apply formal change management practices that ensure that programs are baselined at kickoff and all changes are thoroughly reviewed for justification, impact to the program and have received appropriate approvals.
  • Provide clarity on program objectives, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are well understood, and address any conflict in a timely manner with minimal direction and assistance from management.
  • Participate in the preparation of proposals, work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.
  • Lead contracts changes and participate in contracts negotiations.
  • Manage conflict resolution using strong negotiation ability, influence, and professionalism.
  • Anticipate program risks and issues and work to provide resolutions which ensure that stakeholder expectations are set appropriately.


Your required experience/skills

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or STEM, with a minimum of 5 years' experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers.
  • Proven ability managing program task execution while meeting schedule, cost, and budget constraints.
  • Demonstrated ability effectively executing on deliverables per contractual terms.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, set direction, mobilize, and motivate teams to execute with limited information and ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills managing risks, developing mitigations measures, and incorporating them within the implementation plan.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence and manage without authority.
  • Experience managing the delivery of technology services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, while adapting changing priorities and assignments.
  • Fluency with MS Office tools, Visio, MS Project.
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance

  • Experience with telecommunications, satellite communications or other related managed services.
  • Service Delivery and Customer Service experience.
  • Certifications in program management (PMI), Scrum, SAFe
