Description
Liberty Mutual US Retail Markets is looking for a Senior Scrum Master and Program Manager to join our Distribution Technology team. In this role , you will lead critical programs to deliver technology solutions that drive profitable growth across our distribution channels. The Senior Scrum Master acts as the delivery lead for the Distribution domain guiding the coordination, synchronization and alignment of a "team of teams" needed to deliver value across major programs . Additionally, the Senior Scrum Master advises domain l eadership on overall program management and governance practices to ensure consistent and effective delivery across the team. About the Job:

  • Defines domain level program management governance and practices to ensure consistent and effective delivery of technology solutions
  • Leads major programs within the Distribution domain and with partner domains to deliver solutions that drive profitable growth for US retail markets
  • Partner with domain leadership team to identify risks , issues, and dependencies and work to identify mitigation strategies that mitigate impact to delivery
  • Aggregate domain team objectives and key results t o ensure visibility and transparency for the entire team
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among teams and stakeholders at domain level events to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities
  • Use assessment models and indicators to gauge the health and effectiveness of the team of teams
  • Drive the usage of data and metrics to measure and optimize the effectiveness of both pro gram delivery and engineering excellence
  • Guide continuous improvement efforts to enhance delivery and effectiveness
  • Provide coaching and consulting to p ortfolio team leaders on good practices to accelerate maturity and remove organizational barriers to agility

Qualifications

  • Experience with large scale technology program management and proven track record of delivery excellence
  • S trong communication , organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills
  • Advanced presentation skills and ability to influence through effective communications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline and at least eight, typically ten or more years related experience as a project team member, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of business functions and extensive understanding of business operations, strategies and objectives
  • Understanding of agile methodology concepts and how to apply program management disciplines to an agile delivery model
