Program Analyst

Amentum is seeking a Program Analyst to join our engineering team in Dahlgren, VA.  

Essential Responsibilities: Perform program analyst support for Navy programs.  Candidate will support programmatic meetings, manage program action items, support tracking of program documentation changes.

Program Analyst Responsibilities Include:

• Performing program analyst support for Navy programs.

• Supporting programmatic meetings, manage program action items, support tracking of program documentation changes.

• Interfacing with internal functional teams and external customers for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support and achievement of customer goals.

• Interacting with and advising customers by applying specific program knowledge and/or subject matter expertise in the execution of routine and non-routine tasks.

• Interacting and providing technical assessment to customers, through the application of specific program knowledge and subject matter expertise, in the execution of program management tasks.

• Analyzing requirements, interface with other professionals to generate program documentation such as plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, contracts/contract modifications, technical instructions/procedures and/or related material.

• Analyzing and tracking schedules and deliverables, conduct research into specific areas, prepare findings and report findings to the customer.

• Creating and maintaining master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal).

• Reviewing, analyzing, providing comments, and providing assessments of technical and non-technical program reports; research specific area and prepare findings.

• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum qualifications:

• Three years of work-related experience demonstrating a technical understanding and ability to prepare technical documents and reports; OR, one year of specialized experience as a Financial Analyst; government, military, or industry (government/military preferred).

• One year experience with business software; SAP applications are preferred.

• Three years of experience with Microsoft software applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc.).

• Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
