JOB DETAILS

This is a 2nd shift position with a start time of 2:30pm and end time of around 11:30pm-1:30am depending on business needs. 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $90,000 + 5% annual bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the scheduling activities of the shop floor, and shipping under the direction of the Operations Planner / Plant Manager following established procedures and approved processes. Able to identify personnel shortages from day to day
  • Supervise all production scheduling operations in your department so they are producing on schedule to be loaded and shipped on time
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill sales orders meet inventory requirements and deliver quality manufactured products in a timely fashion
  • Communicate line problems, parts shortages, engineering problems, etc. to management
  • Maintain daily communication with team members and management to plan for the day/week/month
  • Continuously seek new and innovative ways to solve problems while maintaining focus on continuous improvement
  • Support team leaders/members in order to implement quality and productivity improvements through continuous improvement projects
  • Assist with Human Resources related functions, including employee hiring and retention, performance reviews, progressive discipline, and enforcement of Cornerstone’s policies and procedures
  • Emphasis on developing labor cost reduction system as well as maximizing efficiency
  • Balance safety, quality, productivity, and employee morale to achieve positive results in all areas

Qualifications

  • High school GED or equivalent required with an Associates and/or Bachelor's degree, preferred
  • Minimum 4 yrs. recent experience in manufacturing required
  • Minimum 4 yrs. supervisory/leadership experience required
  • Experience with lean, continuous improvement and quality
  • Thorough knowledge of the team processes
  • Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline
  • Production planning background preferred
  • Must adhere to all company safety policies
  • Exposure to 5S & Rapid Improvement programs preferred
  • Quality driven
  • Microsoft Office Product experience is required
  • Works under moderate supervision
  • Reports to a manager or supervisor
  • Gains or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline
  • Works under moderate supervision
