As the Production Specialist, you are responsible for bringing physical brand experiences to life in a wide range of Arc’teryx retail partner stores. You will work closely with your team and partners in Brand and Commercial on everything from campaign production to Arc’teryx sections build-outs in partner doors. You manage multiple vendor relationships, projects, and budgets comfortably and have a strong understanding of production needs, timelines, and impacts. You are as comfortable taking initiative and working autonomously as you are asking for guidance. You are a valued contributor to a cross-functional team focused on creating elevated and innovative retail experiences.

 

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

 

 

Meet Your Future Team:


You will work as part of the North America Trade Marketing team – a collaborative group of Project Managers, Producers and Operators responsible for defining and evolving process and leading creative teams to the successful delivery of campaigns and projects within our B2B Partner Retailers.

If you were the Production Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Supporting Brand, Commercial and Retail partners to plan budget, timing, installation and removal of campaign, brand experiences, and product feature wholesale in-store deliverables
  • Working with external partners to coordinate and deliver printed and fabricated materials to stores (ex. Windows, Lightboxes, Graphics, Fixture Signage, and other Printed Materials)
  • Partnering with the Retail Excellence and Brand Operations partners on new account opening production needs; exterior and interior (i.e. Developing the Arc’teryx section in store)
  • Processing and tracking invoices for related production projects
  • Maintaining and updating the Production Coordination dashboard to keep stakeholders informed of project status
  • Working with the Visual Merchandising and Retail Communications partners to provide consistent and current information and direction to your teams and our B2B Retail Partners
  • Supporting Retail Partner Stores and Territory Managers with Branded material requests
  • Working with Retail Brand Production team to ensure seasonal and campaign creative or templates and assets are available for in-market production when relevant

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Partnering with your Retail Excellence and Store Design partners on new, large Arc’teryx Shop In Shop type build-outs (both exterior and interior) through the planning, production, budgeting, execution and reporting of the project.
  • Working with your Brand Creative partners on creative file development, delivery and campaign creative
  • Building and managing vendor relationships in Canada and US primarily
  • Supporting the creation or deliver of production assets for Arc’teryx Brand Stores
  • Assisting in evolving our processes and build strong communication between teams

Are you our next Production Specialist?

  • You have a post secondary education or training in graphic design work or a related field
  • You have 3+ years’ experience working with production and fabrication vendors
  • You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing 
  • You are able to travel 10-20% of the time
  • You are comfortable managing multiple projects at one time
  • You have experience working with web-based project management tools (e.g. Monday.com, Smartsheet)
  • You have demonstrated success in a fast-paced, matrixed work environment
  • You thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving, and highly competitive industry 
  • You are a performance focused individual with experience working from concept to completion, dealing with ambiguity and working toward clarity, while maintaining high quality in outcomes and a strong sense of accountability 
  • You have strong Project Management expertise; strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to plan and prioritize 
  • You create strong relationships, collaborate, and influence across all levels, functions, geographies - internal and external 
  • You have experience driving timelines and managing budgets 
  • You have a strong understanding of a multi-brand, cross-functional, vertically integrated organization 
  • You are a results driven, proactive self-starter, and are organized and focused 
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity 
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions 
  • You seek to execute the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
