Job Description
The Product and Technical Program Manager role for Engine Systems is a fast paced and broad role that will offer a wide range of challenges. The role works closely with internal team members as well as Joint Venture partners and external customers.

  • Represent aftermarket for the Engine Systems market segment and provide strategic planning to ensure optimal lifecycle financial margins, and product performance.
  • Represent CAS to assigned OEM customers and partners (GE, CFM, SAFRAN, airline customers) for all in-service support.
  • Focal for all Aftermarket Joint Venture activities with FADEC International and FADEC Alliance.
  • Lead market initiatives grow sales and reduce costs for the assigned market segment such as: overhaul development; component exchanges; product upgrades and technical insertions; modifications; warranty, loan, and exchange solutions; and intellectual property protection.
  • Participate in program reviews and ensure aftermarket is represented during prioritization, budgeting, and resource allocation, and lead aftermarket projects.
  • Coordinate with Business Development team to drive growth and maintain continuous engagement with customers and competitors in the market.
  • Review RBAs for BAE led long term agreement activities and lead internal approval reviews for partner RBA reviews.
  • Assist with Joint Venture board of directors' preparation.
  • Collaborate with PEMs to:
    • Provide the technical interface with airline and MRO customers to ensure lifecycle technical support from: proposal; timely EIS and ongoing documentation and CMMs, support and training.
    • Facilitate field reliability reviews and root cause and corrective actions;
    • Develop AD, SL, and SBs
    • Participate in industry conferences, standards development, working groups, and accident investigations
    • Ensure compliance with SLAs and PSAs
    • Facilitate obsolescence forecasting and retirement planning
    • Create and deploy continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead assigned Joint Venture Logistics Manager to provide asset tracking within the JVs as well as coordination between sales teams and service centers on JV owned assets and needs.
  • Responsible for setting annual service center repair catalog pricing in partnership with the Joint Ventures in support of Aftermarket financial goals.
  • Deliver performance to CAS Aftermarket salient objectives for Spares and Repair and Product Support.
  • Periodic travel to work with JV partners or attend events in support of the needs of the business.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Technical degree or equivalent experience required with at least 8 years of industry experience. Preferred experience with working within a joint venture and an understanding of electronic engine controls basics. Masters degree is desired but not required.
The successful candidate for this role will be able to manage priorities well and work within a matrix organization to engage cooperation toward a common goal. While this role does have a technical requirement, you will also need to be able to take a total business view of the portfolio and plan how to grow margin and revenue. If you enjoy engaging in contractual conversations with sales and customer teams and finding ways to deliver creative solutions, this role may be for you.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $103590 - $176130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
