The PositionProduct Stewardship Manager H/F
Job Summary
The Product Stewardship Manager is an individual contributor part of the Performance Minerals EMEA product stewardship team. This is an important role to support Imerys Product Stewardship processes by authoring safety data sheets and supporting label generation. Staying informed on regulatory developments affecting our business is a critical part of the role.
The Imerys Product Stewardship team implements and follows best practices to ensure regulatory compliance, minimise product liability, and add business value.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Working with the Product Stewardship Director to support the development of processes for efficient SDS management system ensuring all products have an SDS and are updated
● Classification of substances and mixtures according to CLP and other global classification systems
● Authoring of SDSs using appropriate and agreed SDS authoring software
● Ensure regulatory compliance for Imerys products in dedicated markets and provide timely response to customers
ACCOUNTABILITY:
● Product Regulatory Compliance:

SDS & Label compliance in the countries and applications served by the Business Area product portfolio

regulatory compliance of Imerys products in the countries and applications where they are sold that are under the responsibility of this position
● Customer Product Safety Communication: management of Business Area customer product safety related inquiries from receipt to response and closure
PROFILE
-
Education : A minimum of Bachelors degree with a higher degree in a Scientific Discipline preferred
-
Experience : A first experience in regulatory affairs, product stewardship experience in chemical, polymer, plastics, food contact or other industries

Knowledge of chemical regulations, including CLP, REACH, GHS and other relevant regulations
-
A first experience as SDS writer and with SDS authoring tools is required

Professional proficiency in English and French

Knowledge of CLP and REACH regulations
