The Upstream Product Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the application of Cytiva's upstream technology products, particularly single-use technologies, in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. You will work closely with customers to provide technical support and help optimize process efficiency, flexibility, and scalability..

This position reports to the Modality and Marketing manager and is part of the commercial team located in Taipei and will be an on-site role to cover Taiwan region.  

What you will do:

• Product Technical Support & Application: Provide expert technical support for upstream processes, especially focusing on the application of single-use technologies in cell culture, fermentation, and other upstream processes, helping customers optimize their production workflows.
• Product Knowledge & Promotion: Gain in-depth knowledge of Cytiva's upstream product portfolio and offer professional advice and solutions to customers. Conduct product demonstrations and promote solutions to meet customer needs.
• Collaboration & Needs Analysis: Work closely with customers and internal teams to tailor solutions that address specific customer requirements. Assist with technology transfer and process optimization.
• Sales Support: Support the sales team by providing technical expertise during customer proposals, helping promote new products and enhance existing product offerings.
• Market & Technology Trends Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, particularly in upstream processes and single-use technologies, and integrate this knowledge into your daily work.

Who you are:

• Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in biopharmaceuticals, particularly in upstream processes or single-use technology applications.
• Technical Background: Experience with GMP-scale cell culture, fermentation, and media development. Familiarity with upstream process operations and workflows.
• Solution-Oriented: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
