Opportunity 

The Product Solutions Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining products through a combination of market research and internal collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and senior members of the Product development teams.  This position combines the findings with general requirements, specifications, timetables, pricing and plans to complete development, launch, maintain and evaluate viability of the product. Role requires cross-functional collaboration and initiative. Each product’s viability will be supported by key metrics and the role will be evaluated for both the efficiency of launch and maintenance of the product through the lifecycle and the impact to these metrics. 

Responsibilities: 

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to all aspects of the product life-cycle: identifying product needs, prioritizing product demand, developing launch plans, maintaining and evolving existing products . Core duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned: 

  • Know customer needs through research and market data 

  • Develop product lines and appraise new ideas for market viability 

  • Assess competition by comparing products 

  • Work cross departmentally to create and implement both internal and external communication plans 

  • Work with Sales teams to develop the sales strategies for product deployment 

  • Work with Sales team to create long- and short-term product sales forecasts and analysis for management 

  • Work with Content production team to create and manage collateral necessary to support the product 

  • Bring new products to market with return-on-investment analysis 

  • Provide market research, production costs and anticipated demand to assist executive team with product pricing 

  • Schedule and assign operational requirements; maintaining Student Experience for assigned products across platforms (e.g., CRM, LMS, LRS, etc.) 

  • Maintenance of existing products and driving development of new products for new initiatives 

  • Cooperating with Project Sponsor & Senior Director of Product Solutions to define project goals and ensure consistency with company strategies 

  • Cooperating with internal and external key stakeholders 

  • Engaging and ensuring delivery from multiple teams, working internationally, with a variety of stakeholders 

  • Assisting in development of business requirements for IT development, when required 

  • Identify necessary dashboard metrics 

  • Prepare project plans for development, launch and maintenance of product throughout the entire network of centers 

  • Reporting progress of all projects to management 

  • Leading product initiative meetings with team members, business stakeholders, external vendors and service providers, where applicable 

  • Adhering to all internal procedures, tools and standards 

  • Deliver training and documentation associated with new and existing products 

  • Define and develop products and maintenance of existing products to ensure a healthy life-cycle contributing to ROI. 

  • Create project plans, define resources, documentation and guidelines for product initiatives for both Company owned and Network-wide initiatives 

  • Develop improvement protocols for existing programs and integration of new programs 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 

  • Product Management related experience  

  • Strong analytical skills, including product management and product development skills 

  • Ability to collect information, plan and draw conclusions to support product strategy 

  • Ability to learn new software technologies and understand the relationship multi-system integrations on product delivery 

  • Ability to work across multiple business areas, departments and initiatives 

  • Strong drive towards achieving business goals and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to conduct meetings and presentations 

  • Computer literacy in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word) 

  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure, strong sense of ownership and excellent communications skills 

  • Must be a self-starter who is well organized and can work without a lot of direct supervision; able to ask for direction or additional help when needed 

  • Comfortable with multitasking and managing multiple simultaneous priorities and/or product initiatives  

  • Strong e-mail management skills, and electronic communication skills (texting and instant messaging) 

  • Pleasant outlook, organized, energetic and a team player; calm under pressure situations 

  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with “on-call” availability after working hours and on weekends
